Wendy clenched her fist and made herself sound guilty. “It’s all my fault. I didn’t take care of Estie properly and made her run away…” 

“How long has she been gone? Have you reported it to the police? Where are you now? I’ll send people over immediately!” Melody was so worried that she wanted to fly over immediately. 

‘How did my good granddaughter disappear out of nowhere?!’ 

Wendy answered softly, “We’re looking for her right now, and the police are helping as well. Don’t worry.” 

Melody was extremely anxious, so her words did not sound pleasant. “How can I not worry?! It’s about to be dark soon! Estie will be so afraid! Okay, I must tell your Uncle Lawrence to send people over!” Wendy agreed. The more manpower they had, the higher the hopes were. After hanging up the call, Wendy also went out to help in the search. Melody then called Byron to confirm the situation. Byron was looking for the little girl along the mountains. He frowned when he suddenly saw his mother calling. 

“Have you found Estie?” His mother’s voice came through immediately after he picked up the call. 

Hearing that, Byron’s frown deepened. “Who told you?” 

Melody sounded as if she was blaming him. “Are you still trying to hide such a big matter from me? Where are you now? I’ll send people over!” 

Byron was even more annoyed. “You don’t have to. I already told Luther to bring people over.” 

Melody did not continue to insist, but she wanted to come over herself. However, Byron stopped her. “This is a remote place. You’ll only be waiting in the hotel even if you’re here. Just cut the hassle. I’ll call you alter I find her.”
