Chapter 325 It Is Better To Be More Cautious
when Rosalie arrived at the hospital, she planned to carry Nox in. However, Nox was afraid that Rosalie would feel tired. Therefore, he insisted on walking himself, she had no choice but to allow him to do so.
Rosalie held Lucian’s and Nox’s hands as they walked into the hospital to collect their queue number.
Rosalie then brought them up to the second floor.
“How’s it? Does your stomach still hurt a lot?” Rosalie asked in concern while walking.
Nox did not want Rosalie to worry about him.
Although his stomach hurt, he resisted the pain and shook his head. However, he could not bring himself to say anything.
Rosalie knew that Nox was acting all tough. Her eyes filled with worry.
When three of them walked past the elevator, the elevator stopped. The doors of the elevator opened slowly.
“Does your arm still hurt?”
A familiar voice rang out beside them.
Rosalie, Lucian, and Nox turned around to look beside them instinctively.
Byron and Wendy were standing next to each other in the elevator. There was a cast on Wendy’s arm, and she was dressed in a thin patient’s gown. Meanwhile, there was a loose business suit jacket draped over her shoulders.
Byron was standing next to her in just a shirt. His sleeves were pulled up slightly to reveal his thin arms. His head was turned to the side as he looked at the woman standing next to him.
Rosalie and the children were stunned after seeing both of them.
Although they had known about the two’s engagement a long time ago, this was the first time they had seen Byron and Wendy interacting so intimately with each other.
Byron’s coat was wrapped around Wendy’s shoulders. His attention seemed to be focused on Wendy’s injured arm. It was evident just how much he cared for this woman.
Complicated feelings overcame Rosalie, Lucian, and Nox.
Rosalie simply felt that she was a joke right now.
She knew that Byron would marry Wendy sooner or later, she knew just how strong Byron’s feelings for Wendy were six years ago.
However, she had started questioning his relationship with Wendy after returning to the country this time around since Byron had started treating her better.
She wondered how would the reporter who caught Byron accompanying her to the hospital would report this on the news after seeing Byron with Wendy.
Although she was wrongly recognized as his fiancee previously, in a sense, she was just like a substitute for Wendy in the photos.
