Chapter 347 Had To Be Ruthless
Rosalie held Little Estie in her arms as the little girl cried until she was out of breath. Her two little hands were tightly clutching her clothes, and her voice broke intermittently. “I want Aunt. I want Aunt be Mommy!”
Rosalie was stunned for a moment.
The little girl continued, “Aunt is the best. Daddy likes Aunt…”
Hearing this, Rosalie came back to her senses and bit her lower lip mockingly.
T don’t know where this little one came to this conclusion.’
Perhaps in Estie’s heart, as long as the two adults had more contact with each other, that meant they liked each other.
Just like how the little girl liked her two sons.
No matter how she explained this, Estie would not be able to understand, let alone accept the fact that Byron liked Wendy.
Rosalie could not help but have a headache.
After a long while, she raised her hands to wipe the little girl’s tears and tried her best to gently coax the child. “I… I won’t stay here forever. I’m only here for work this time. When my work is over, I have to go back abroad. I can’t be your mommy.”
She thought she had put it very euphemistically, but she did not expect that the little girl would be more reluctant for her to leave than if she could not be her mommy.
Hearing that Rosalie would go abroad in the future, the little girl knew that it would be difficult for her to see her in the future. The crying stopped for a few seconds before becoming more violent.
Rosalie was startled and panicked.
Lucian and Nox heard Estie’s cries. They ran over, looked at her with distressed expressions, and asked Rosalie, “Mommy, what’s wrong with Estie?”
Rosalie opened her mouth but did not know what to say.
“Aunt, don’t go…” Estie’s crying face was wet, and her voice was hoarse.
