My Ex-Wife and Kids Came In Like A Wrecking Ball novel Chapter 36

Chapter 36 Can’t Read This Man

Byron just glanced at her. He then clutched her wrist and turned sideways to look at Andrea coldly. “Apologize.” Suddenly hearing Byron say that, Andrea was instantly dumbfounded. “Byron, what are you talking about?” Byron looked at her commandingly with a full sense of oppression. “Old Man Quirke is in critical condition now. If there‘s someone else who can save him, that person would long have appeared when you invited famous doctors locally and abroad. But that‘s not the case.” Taking in his imposing manner, Andrea lowered her head with inexplicable nervousness. “She...”

Byron paused, glancing vaguely at the people behind him. He continued, “Miss Jacobs is not related to the Quirke family and came specifically to treat Old Man Quirke. If you can‘t trust her, fine. But there is no reason to lay a hand on her. Is this what the Quirke family taught you? Apologize to her immediately!” Seeing this scene, Andrius was also a little stupefied. He could not believe his eyes. Were his eyes deceiving him? Was Byron actually speaking up for a woman who was a stranger to him?

However, it was indeed excusable. After all, his sister had been making a fuss about getting rid of Dr. Jacobs from the beginning and had even struck her all of a sudden.

Andrius did not expect her to be too hasty today either.

Seeing Byron lecture her, his expression also sank. He said to Andrea, “Andrea, Byron is right. Apologize to Dr. Jacobs immediately! No matter how anxious you are, you shouldn‘t have acted against Dr. Jacobs! You were too impulsive!”

Andrea gritted her teeth and looked at the people in front of her.

Byron was protecting the woman behind him and making her apologize without allowing her to say anything. Her brother had also spoken for that woman. Even Estie had held up her notebook and asked her to apologize! For a moment, she had no other choice!
