My Ex-Wife and Kids Came In Like A Wrecking Ball novel Chapter 378

Chapter 378 Feeling Uneasy

Seeing the two boys’ sad appearance, Rosalie could not say anything for a long time.

Fortunately, the boys also knew that their mommy was reluctant to give up on Estie. After being sad for a while, they sensibly calmed down and ate their meals in small bites.

After dinner, Rosalie was very tired. The two boys were not in the mood to play games and went upstairs early to sleep.

After waiting till the boys had fallen asleep, Rosalie gently touched their cheeks and said softly, “I’m sorry.”

It was because of her that the little ones had to follow her around at a young age.

Moreover, they should have a better life. The moment she told Byron about the boys’ parentage, they would become the young masters of the Lawrence family with golden spoons. Everything they wanted, they would get.

Out of selfishness, however, she had the two boys remain by her side.

Although she had worked hard over the years to compensate them, she did not think her efforts were even close to making up for the loss the boys had experienced.

Rosalie stared at the boys’ sleeping faces for a long time before leaning over and kissing their foreheads. She then got up and turned off the lights for them before opening the door to leave.

Hearing the sound of the door closing, the two boys slowly opened their eyes and looked at each other in the dark.

They had not fallen asleep at all and had heard Rosalie’s apology.

Mommy said sorry to them, but they did not think their mommy had done anything to be sorry…

Rosalie returned to her room. After simply washing up, she lay in bed.

She thought she would fall asleep very quickly after being exhausted by the day’s events, but when she closed her eyes, countless images poured into her mind.

From the negotiation between her and Melody at the coffee shop to Estie crying to her not to leave, and the boys’ reluctant appearance just now…
