Chapter 395 Raising Suspicion
Andrius spent a good portion of his might before he managed to lift the unpleasant atmosphere that he caused just now before discussing with Rosalie about the pharmaceutical industry in Coast City at the present day.
Rosalie also conversed with him patiently.
Byron, who was beside him, did not speak again. He just drank his wine without saying a word.
Seeing that they had finished most of the wine in the bottle, Andrius hurriedly ended the dinner. “It’s getting late. Let’s just end things here today. I’ll have the medicinal materials businesses decide the time as soon as possible.”
Rosalie did not want to stay any longer either, so she unequivocally agreed.
The three of them went downstairs side by side. Rosalie was about to pay the tab but was stopped by Andrius.
“I was just kidding the last time. How can I allow you to treat me? If my grandfather finds out about this, he’ll lecture me again.”
Saying that, Andrius quickly went over to settle the bill. He then turned around and walked to Byron’s side before raising a brow at him earnestly.
Byron frowned but said nothing.
Hearing him bring the old master up and seeing that money was really nothing to Andrius, Rosalie decided not to be so courteous.
It was almost nine o’clock when they came out of the restaurant.
Although they were acquaintances, Rosalie had still drunk a lot of wine at the dinner table and was a little intoxicated. The sweeping nighttime breeze served to wake her up quite a bit.
Andrius’s voice sounded in her ears. “How are you going back? Would you like me to send you back?”
Rosalie had driven by herself. As she had been drinking, she naturally could not drive back.
Hearing this, Rosalie looked up and glanced at the traffic. “Thank you for your kindness, Young Master Quirke, but the Quirke household is not along the way to mine. I won’t bother you. I’ll just take a taxi by myself.”
After saying that, she took off and walked to the side of the road.
Andrius glanced at the person beside him.
