Chapter 446 He Looked strange
The next morning, as soon as Rosalie woke up, she saw a message from last night.
Leon Martin: [Are you free tomorrow? Let’s grab a meal?]
She thought about her work schedule for the day and replied.
Rosalie: [How about noon? Near our research institute.]
On the other end, Leon quickly agreed.
The clock was barely noon and Rosalie received a call from Leon.
“Are you done yet? I’ll be waiting for you at the entrance of your research institute.” As soon as it was connected, Leon’s voice rang.
Rosalie was talking to Yves about a recent project. As she answered the phone, Yves paused the conversation and waited.
Hearing that Leon had arrived, Rosalie subconsciously glanced at Yves, and replied to Leon apologetically, “Hey Leon, give me a moment, I need to sort some matters out now, or if you don’t mind, you can come in and wait.”
Leon politely declined with a deep smile, “oh it’s alright, don’t worry. I’ll wait for you at the door, take your time.”
Rosalie agreed, then hung up the phone and continued to talk to Yves about the project.
For the past two days, she only wanted to prepare for the Lancer Family free clinic. On top of that, the research institute’s work process has long been on the right track, and the medicinal material supply problem has been solved. Therefore, Rosalie wanted to let Yves temporarily handle all of the research institute’s work.
After a short discussion between them, it was considered a proper handover of the institute.
Rosalie wanted to say more, but Yves interjected with a smile. “I have been here for so long, and I have been handling the research institute together with you the whole time. So rest assured, you can just leave it to me. Isn’t there someone waiting for you? Now go!” Rosalie hesitated for a moment, then nodded with a smile.
Speaking of which, Yves has been working in the research institute longer than she. After she came, the two of them were in charge of the research institute together, so she did not need to worry so much.
