Byron stood behind her and gazed at Rosalie’s back for a long time.

He did not know what the woman was thinking as she had yet to notice his presence, she just continued to sit alone.

After a long time, Byron frowned and walked toward her.

Rosalie came back to her senses after the man’s shadow fell in front of her. she raised her eyes to look at the person in front of her.

When their gazes met, Rosalie frowned and stood up alertly, she took two steps back to pull apart the distance between them.

“What’s on your mind, Miss Jacobs? why did you run out here after leaving Lucian and Nox behind?” Byron asked nonchalantly, and there was a hint of concern in his tone.

Rosalie looked at the man in front of her and replied right away, “Didn’t you also leave Estie behind when you came out here?”

Hearing this, his eyes darkened slightly. After a while, he pursed his lips. “Estie is worried about you, so I’m just out to help her check on you.”
