My Ex-Wife and Kids Came In Like A Wrecking Ball novel Chapter 579

Chapter 579 About To Cry

The group left the hotel overnight and returned to the city.

Unlike when they came, the seating arrangements had changed. In order to help Rosalie sit more comfortably, Lucian sat in the front passenger seat, while Estie and Nox sat in the back with Rosalie.

All the way home, the little ones looked at her injured foot with worry and wonder. It made Rosalie want to laugh and cry at their antics

Finally, when they were at the door of the villa, Rosalie leaned on the backrest and cautiously wanted to get out of the car. Just as she moved to the door of the car, a pair of big hands stretched out in front of her and placed them on her waist.

Rosalie was stunned for a few seconds, she thought that since the kids had seen this scene several times since she got injured, presumably they would not think too much about it. Hence, she gave in and let Byron carry her into the villa. 1

As soon as they entered the door, Nanny Lisa greeted them and saw Rosalie being carried by Byron, she was genuinely surprised, “what’s wrong? Is Miss Jacobs not feeling well?”

The little boys explained. “Mommy’s foot is injured.”

Hearing this, Lisa glanced at Rosalie’s feet worriedly, only to see that the shoe on one foot was worn halfway and loosely dangling. The gauze on the sole of her foot was vaguely seen.

Lisa immediately became nervous and carefully helped Byron to put Rosalie on the sofa. She repeatedly asked, “You were fine when you left. How did you get hurt so badly?”

Rosalie smiled reassuringly. “I accidentally stepped on a conch. It’s just a scratch. No big deal. I’ll be fine in two days.”

Lisa’s face was still unchanging, but she did not forget to thank Byron profusely. “Thank goodness for President Lawrence. Thank you for sending Miss Jacobs home safely at this hour.”

Byron nodded and said solemnly, “Take care of her these two days. Try not to let her set foot on the ground. Also, her wound shouldn’t get wet.”

Lisa agreed to each of Byron’s requests.

Rosalie saw that the man had an attitude like the houseowner and felt a strange feeling in her heart. She interjected and reminded aloud, “It’s getting late, President Lawrence, you should take Estie home early. As for today’s matter, I’ll thank you another day.”
