My Ex-Wife and Kids Came In Like A Wrecking Ball novel Chapter 793

Chapter 793 Had Been Wrong All Along

Rosalie vaguely noticed something strange. She pursed her lips and said nothing.

On the other hand, Mary noticed the strange atmosphere between the two and retracted her feet into the car. She sat silently, waiting.

The behavior of her best friend’s ex-husband was so strange that once again, it made her have her doubts.

If it was not for Rosalie who admitted it to her personally and Byron saying that he wanted to pursue her, Mary would never have believed Byron would chase after anybody.

Moreover, all of Byron’s behaviors did not seem to be a romantic pursuit but more like he was conquering a territory.

Mary watched the interaction between the two of them from a distance, and her heart was more and more sure about Byron’s territorial behavior.

“Are you going out?” Byron suppressed the anger in his heart, glanced coldly at Rosalie’s dress, and intentionally asked despite knowing the truth.

Seeing the man’s gaze, Rosalie felt a little guilty inexplicably.

However, she then thought, ‘I’m only meeting Xander for work.’

This gave her more confidence in her heart, and she explained calmly. “There’s a signing ceremony I need to attend soon. I can’t invite you in, so please forgive me, President Lawrence.”

Byron frowned slightly and continued. “With Xander?”

Rosalie was stunned. “How do you know?”

‘Even I only received the notification last night. This man has nothing to do with the project, so how could he know about this?’

In the living room, the little boys heard their mommy ask this question, and guilt was written all over their faces. They silently turned around and continued playing with Lego bricks.

Rosalie did not even think about the little boys but wondered if the man in front of her was investigating her again.

Byron guessed what she was thinking, and his eyes darkened. “I have my own ways.”
