Chapter 967 Full Of Concern
“Madam is resting, wait a moment, I’ll inform her.”
In the living room, the housekeeper asked her to wait on the sofa and went upstairs to call Melody.
Wendy frowned slightly, and quickly said, “No need, I’ll go up by myself.”
Melody has always been fond of her, and the housekeeper knew it. Upon hearing this, he agreed after a moment of hesitation.
Wendy nodded at him, adjusted her expression, and went upstairs with a smile.
At the second-floor master bedroom. Melody had just woken up from a nap when she heard a knock at the door, and without thinking much, let the person in.
“Auntie. Did I disturb your rest?” Wendy smiled adorably.
When Melody saw it was her, she also smiled. “You came right on time; I just woke up.”
Wendy kicked into action and immediately walked up to her and linked arms with the elder lady. “I brought you a lot of gifts, I’ll take you down to have a look.”
“You silly child, just come here and see me. Why did you even need to bring gifts?” Melody rebuked Wendy for the extra effort.
Wendy pursed her lips and smiled. “It’s been a long time since I saw you!”
The two went downstairs while chatting.
The gifts that Wendy brought had been received by the housekeeper.
Melody did not plan to open it either, but just glanced at it and retracted her gaze.
When the two took their seats on the sofa, the butler brought them tea promptly.
Wendy picked up the teacup and took a sip, and her eyes twinkled as she suddenly thought of something.
‘I originally wanted to take you outside to relax. The scenery in the suburbs is beautiful recently. Many of my friends have gone out for a walk in the suburbs.”
Melody was intrigued by the idea and was about to say something, but Wendy spoke again.
