He could no longer suppress his wrath when he found out Amora's new job was the reason she was absent over the past two days.

Vivian couldn't read the mood and failed to notice that her father on the other end of the call was enraged.

She announced with her chest held high, “Yes! She's currently working while I'm trying to finish my homework at home!”

Vivian was at a loss for words when she heard her father raising his volume against her.
