Chapter 486
Talia huffed, “It’s the truth! You’re the ignorant one!” “The doctor I found is a famous doctor in Northspring. The bigshots from Springside look for him to treat them,” Jaden snapped back. Violet paused and asked, “You don’t mean Mr. Tanner Smith, do you?” Jaden answered proudly, “That’s right. It’s Mr. Tanner Smith from Northspring. He’s a known doctor who has healed plenty of big names.” Kayson was stunned. Tanner Smith… This was a familiar name. The man had a conflict with him and Zachary back in Roselle Lodge. Jaden looked at Kayson with hostility. “Kid, it’s lucky I brought Mr. Smith with me. Who knows what would have happened if you had been allowed to treat my grandmother!” Violet frowned. She was rather powerless now. She had heard of Tanner’s reputation after all. Despite that, Talia was not a pushover, so she retorted, “Enough of this crap. As long as grandma gets better, it’ll be fine, no?”
Elise spoke up. “Mr. Tanner Smith? He’s a promising person. Well done for getting him.” “Grandma, you know Mr. Smith too?” Violet asked. “Of course. He visited our town when he was younger, and the head of the town welcomed him personally. It was a happening occasion.
“The town head’s wife was very ill back then, and the bigger hospital couldn’t treat her. It’s thanks to Mr. Smith that she survived.”
Talia muttered, “Kayson’s actually a good doctor too.” Jaden was incredibly disgruntled upon seeing that Talia trusted Kayson so much. “I think you’ve been deceived by him. All accomplished doctors are at least 40 or 50 years old.” Kayson commented blankly, “Going to Tanner is useless. He won’t be able to heal Madam Snyder.”
Jaden looked taken aback, but the girl beside him scoffed, “Who do you think you are to say that about Mr. Smith?”
