Chapter 518 Diego contacted his father immediately and went to the company. His father, Brian Gardner, was currently worrying in his office. The company was not big scale – wise but it was still doing quite well.
There were already a few sites that had rejected his construction material supply, and some had even claimed that the material quality was substandard, thus asking for compensation.
If one or two companies had claimed so, Brian could still have figured out a way to apply for quality assessment and argue the case, but this was not just one or two! About 80% of the bosses he was working with had told him that they wanted to return the materials.
How much money was he going to lose since there was such a large-scale return of building materials going on? In addition, he had new supplies coming in.
He had business partners, but they were not involved in the management, so the company was relatively stable for now. Despite that, people would lose their confidence if this went on. Once there was an issue with his cash flow, he would be done for.
“Dad!” Diego barged into the office excitedly.
Brian said in all seriousness, “You said that someone
wants to purchase our building materials in bulk. Is it true?”
“Yes!” Diego replied, sounding thrilled.
Brian could hardly believe that his son, who was still in university, was so capable, so he asked instantly, “Who is
it?”
“Shaun Cash!” Diego answered.
Brian was taken aback before he repeated in shock,“ Who?!”
“The building material mogul, Shaun Cash, dad!”
Brian gasped. “How’s that possible? What kind of sick joke are you cracking?!” They did not even know Shaun, and would the man even need to purchase construction materials? He would just need to say the word! Diego urged him. “I’ll call him. You talk to him!”
Brian was shocked once more. Call him? His undergraduate son had Shaun’s number?!
Diego called the number and said nervously, “Mr. Cash, I’m at the company now. Should I pass the phone to my father?”
