Chapter 334 Love and Expectation
Carlotta and Cindy were busy in the kitchen when Colin and Faye returned to the Fennth Community.
Hearing them come back, Cindy popped her head around the kitchen door and said, "Mr. and Mrs. Farrell, welcome back."
Colin leaned over in the hallway, opened the shoe cabinet, got the slippers out, and then replied in a deep and steady voice, "Mmm."
Cindy said, "Ms. Kemp and I are preparing lunch, and it will be ready soon."
Seeing him crouch down to help Faye change shoes, Cindy smiled and turned back to the kitchen.
Entering the kitchen, she walked up to Carlotta and whispered, "Mr. Farrell loves Mrs. Farrell very much."
Carlotta asked, "Why do you suddenly say so?"
Cindy winked, "He even helps her change shoes."
In the hallway, Colin held Faye's ankle to change her shoes and said solemnly, "Don't wear high heels too often. It is said that high heels will harm knees."
Faye said, "But I'm used to wearing high heels."
Colin raised his eyes and said, "If you wear flat shoes more frequently, you will also get used to them over time."
Then, he stood up and continued with a serious face, "Only short people need to wear high heels. Are you short?"
Faye replied, "No."
Colin said, "So, you don't need to wear them at all."
Faye was speechless.
He was always good at resorting to sophistry, but she had to admit he had used the sophistries for her good.
After a while of silence, she suddenly realized she could not say harsh words to him any longer.
He cared about her so much. If she said those words to hurt his feelings, she would look like an ungrateful person.
Seeing her staring at him unblinkingly, Colin reached out to cover her eyes.
Her eyelashes fluttered in his palm when she said, "Colin, stop it."
He stepped forward, lowered his head, and whispered in her ear, "Honey, don't look at me like that."
Faye pursed her lips in silence.
Colin deliberately lowered his voice, saying, "Whenever you look at me like that, I want to kiss you."
When she was blindfolded, her other sense organs became extremely sensitive.
Hearing his pleasant voice, she suddenly thought of the company's employees' evaluation of him. They said he was walking hormones.
Seeing her keep silent, Colin nibbled on her earlobe and dropped his hand.
Faye's ears flushed when she said, "I'll go to see Aunt Carlotta now."
