Chapter 344 Consideration
After Colin finished his words, Faye was stunned for half a second and then realized what he meant.
Colin chuckled, "Are you feeling better now?"
Faye then realized Colin was teasing her, so she smiled and said, "Yes."
Colin said, "Don't worry. It's not as complicated as you think."
Colin was really good at driving. He drove all the way safely.
It was nearly nine o'clock in the evening when they arrived at Roxford.
Originally, it would only take four hours to drive, but they had spent more than six hours.
Before coming to Roxford, Faye thought the whole of Roxford was a disaster area. After asking the local people, they knew that the disaster area was three villages in Roxford.
"Let's find a hotel to rest in first. Let's figure out the situation tomorrow."
Faye looked at Colin in the driver's seat and said.
With one hand on the steering wheel, Colin felt his back sore and uncomfortable, so he leaned against the back hard. "Okay."
Then he turned the steering wheel to look for the hotel.
Half an hour later, Colin parked his car at the gate of a hotel. He poked his head out and looked outside. Frowning, he asked, "Honey, shall we stay here tonight?"
Faye didn't have any special requirements for accommodation as long as it was clean and warm, so she agreed. "Okay."
The two walked into the hotel. There were many people at the front desk with gloomy faces.
"Why aren't the double rooms we booked in advance available?"
"Are there no twin rooms?"
The receptionist's face turned red, and she smiled apologetically, "I'm really sorry. You booked rooms a week ago, but we suddenly had heavy snow here. Most of the hotels have been expropriated by the rescue team. And several hotels have been expropriated to the victims who have been transferred out. We have no choice..."
"What do you mean by you have no choice? Then where do we live?"
"We still have several single rooms. How about..."
"How can we live in single rooms?"
"How unlucky! We came here to travel, but now we even don't have a place to live."
"I'll be back early tomorrow morning. I really don't want to stay here for a day more."
They stood at the reception desk to vent their anger. Faye said to Colin, "Give me your ID card."
Colin took out his wallet, took out his ID card, and handed it to Faye.
Faye passed through the crowd and put their ID cards on the desk. "Please get us a room."
The receptionist looked up at Faye and smiled awkwardly. "Miss, all double rooms are booked."
Faye replied, "A single room is okay."
The receptionist said, "Is one room enough for you two? We really have no more rooms."
Before the receptionist could finish her words, Faye interrupted her, "It's okay. Please hurry up."
Hearing that Faye only needed to book a single room, the receptionist smiled and picked up her ID card to check in for her.
