Chapter 459 Stubbornness
Seeing this, Andy frowned at him.
Lance raised an eyebrow and said, "Andy, understand?"
Andy asked sullenly, "Do you want me to kill you?"
Lance was speechless. He deeply felt that he was blessed. If he had not asked this question, he would not know how he had died even after his corpse became cold.
Lance adjusted his emotions, walked over to Andy, and smiled casually, "I don't want you to kill me."
Andy asked, "Who do you want to kill?"
Lance said, "We're in a law-based society, so we must abide by the laws."
Then, he told Andy his plan. He wanted to use Nylah to induce Maxwell into showing up to avenge Emmett. But she was very stubborn although she looked weak. The usual intimidations could not scare her at all. So, Lance planned to let one of his subordinates pretend to be their hostage and then let Andy pretend to kill the "hostage" in front of her.
Hearing his words, Andy looked at him with contempt. Lance coughed and embarrassedly touched the tip of his nose with his hand. This kind of work was indeed unworthy of Andy's talents. But he had no other choice because none of his subordinates could defeat Faye in fighting. Lance had thought about it carefully before asking Andy for help.
After finishing speaking, Lance looked at him and said, "Andy, can you..."
When Lance bit the bullet to ask for help, Andy rolled his eyes at him and said, "Tell me when you need me."
Hearing this, Lance was overjoyed and said, "Thank you!"
Andy replied, "Stupid."
Lance was at a loss for words again.
When Faye and Colin arrived in Alogow District, Lance who had a cigarette in his mouth and Nylah were looking at each other in the basement.
Nylah was unkempt, biting her lower lip in silence.
The cigarette in Lance's mouth trembled when he sneered, "Aren't you in love with Hank? Why are you protecting Maxwell? Have you transferred your affection to him?
Nylah snapped, "Don't talk nonsense."
Lance said, "If you don't want me to talk nonsense, call Maxwell. When he comes here, I will let you go."
Then, he took the cigarette out of his mouth and flicked the ash, sneering, "To be honest, if you weren't a woman, I would have long beaten you up."
Nylah took a deep breath and bit her lower lip again.
Seeing her put on the unyielding face again, Lance threw the cigarette on the ground, stubbed it out, reached out to squeeze her chin, approached her, and said sullenly, "Nylah, don't try my patience."
He had put forth his strength, so she felt a sharp pain in her chin.
She took a deep breath and said, "Lance, do you think I'm a fool? You did not beat me because you're afraid Faye will get angry, right? Otherwise, you would have long hit me. I know your character."
