Chapter 502 It's Hope. It's Light

Jake stopped talking. Not waiting for Alexander to answer, he directly hung up the phone.

A few seconds later, Jake tucked the phone that he had cut off into his pocket and raised his eyes to look at the man who was very close to him, "Dude, have you got a light?"

The man's face was expressionless, with a hideous scar on the left cheek, "Yes."

Jake looked calm, lowered his head and bit a cigarette in the corner of his mouth, "Give me a light please."

The man, "It's windy here. You need to find a more secluded place to light a cigarette."

Jake snorted lightly, "Okay."

Jake finished and raised his jaw at the man, "Please lead the way."

The man did not expect Jake to agree so quickly, he could not help but look at him twice.

Jake's face was very deceptive.

The man looked at him, did not see anything unusual and winked at the man standing behind Jake.

The other man was aware of it, stepped forward and put an arm around Jake's neck with a foxy smile, "Brother, come with me. I'll light a cigarette for you."

While talking, he wrapped his arm around Jake's neck and headed for a pitch dark alley.

Jake was drunk. Although his brain was still conscious, his footsteps already looked a little staggering.

The man who was holding his neck saw the state of Jake, showed a flash of contempt in his eyes.

A few minutes later, Jake was taken to the alley.

The man's eyes darkened. He kept his countenance, slid out a dagger from the cuff and clutched it in the hand.

Seeing that the man was about to start the fight, Jake suddenly reached out a hand to clasp the man's wrist, "Brother, where is the fire?"

Jake looked polite and physically weak, but in fact, he was a man of great strength.

The man tried several times to break away from Jake's hand but failed.

The man, "Dr. Thomas."

Jake leaned against the wall and smiled, "Do you know me?"

The man, " ..."

The man was not sure whether Jake was really drunk. Silent for a while, he used the other hand to pull out the lighter from the pocket and handed it to Jake.

Jake bit the cigarette with his head down, lit it on the lighter in the man's hand, took a deep puff and said gently, "Thanks."

The man said in a cold voice, "Dr. Thomas, the light has lent to you, and the cigarette is also lit. Shouldn't you loose my wrist?"

The man's words finished. Jake's hazy drunken eyes squeezed out a smile, "Loose you?"

The man's voice was deep, "Hmm."
