Chapter 617 Remaining Unmoved
It all happened so fast.
When Faye and Rebecca realized it, Tanner had fallen to the ground. He hunched his back, covered the abdomen with his hand, and his forehead seeped out a layer of sweat.
The person who kicked Tanner was Abbot.
Abbot wore a white shirt and a pair of black suit pants. His shirt cuffs were pulled up to the arm, and his face looked gloomy and terrible.
Tanner gritted his teeth and looked at Abbot. The moment he looked at Abbot’s eyes, he suddenly sobered up.
What did he do just now!!
If Abbot didn’t kick him, he would have nearly broken off his friendship with Faye for years with his own hands.
Abbot did not look at Faye, nor did he look at Rebecca.
Seeing Tanner look at him, he stepped forward to Tanner, squatting down and said coldly, "Brother. You have been friends for many years, why bother?"
Tanner completely sobered up. His look was embarrassed, so was himself.
Abbot finished his words. Seeing that Tanner did not make a sound, Abbot weakened his sternness. He lowered his voice and said, "Let your love pass by. If you want to express your love, why not do it earlier?"
Tanner was speechless.
Abbot stopped talking and stretched out his hand to Tanner.
Tanner's jaw was tight, but he was not pretentious. He clasped Abbot's hand and lent his strength to get up, "Thanks."
Abbot, "Drinking is OK, but don't be a jerk."
Tanner took a breath and did not say anything.
Tanner stood up to stabilize his emotions for a while before he found Colin was standing not far away.
Colin today wore a black shirt, with the shirt collar slightly open. One could feel he was arbitrary and amorous even though there was a space of two meters.
The hand hanging at the side of Tanner clenched, and the embarrassment seemed to stab from his skin into the bone.
Colin stared at Tanner for a while and turned his head to look at the executive following behind him, "Have you got a cigarette?"
The executive heard it, took out cigarettes and a lighter quickly and handed them to Colin, "Mr. Farrell."
Colin took it and said thanks. Stepping to Tanner, Colin tapped out a cigarette and handed it to Tanner.
Tanner took it with his lips pursed tightly, "Thank you."
Colin’s thin lips showed a smile, and he lit a cigarette for Tanner.
Tanner lit his cigarette on the lighter in Colin's hand. He took a deep breath and said in a cracked voice, "Just now..."
