My Fair Stunner novel (Faye and Colin) novel Chapter 773

Chapter 773 The Whip

Colin didn't say much after that.

After going downstairs with Abbot, he told Rebecca's mother that he had already called and explained the situation to Rebecca's father.

Rebecca's mother was a bit puzzled, but when she heard Colin say that he had already informed Rebecca's father, she didn't stop them and walked them out.

In the car, Abbot leaned forward, his hand resting on the back of the driver's seat, and asked, "Colin you didn't call Mr. Black, did you?"

Colin raised his eyebrow slightly and said, "Do you think I'm someone who has no manners?"

Abbot pondered for a moment and said, "Well, in this aspect, you're doing okay."

When it came to dealing with elders, Colin was absolutely impeccable.

He wasn't pretending, but he was genuine and gave heartfelt respect to the elders.

Seeing that Colin remained silent, Abbot didn't continue to ask either. He leaned back and closed his eyes to sleep.

Colin glanced at the rearview mirror and took off his coat, tossed it to the back.

The coat hit Abbot, who suddenly opened his eyes. "Huh?"

Colin smiled and said, "Cover yourself. Don't make your flu get worse."

Abbot twitched his lips into a smile and replied, "Not bad, our Colin knows how to be considerate."

"Shut your mouth and don't talk." Colin finished speaking and tapped his fingers on the steering wheel. "By the way, where should I drop you off? The Carters' mansion, or your place?"

Abbot didn't say a word.

Colin raised his eyebrow and sounded confused, "Huh?"

Abbot remained silent.

Colin looked at the rearview mirror and asked, "Did you become mute?"

"Didn't you tell me to shut up?"

Colin playfully scolded, "Since when you have become such a good boy? Just because I told you to shut up and you are doing so?"

"In front of Mr. Farrell, I dare not speak much, fearing that talking too much might lead to my demise."

Colin chuckled softly, "Don't be too mean. So, where am I taking you?"

Abbot replied, "Definitely back to the mansion. With my current condition, I need to go back and make my presence in front of my mom, you know, seeking for..."

Abbot had originally intended to say "seeking for his parents' love", but halfway through his sentence, he suddenly realized something and fell silent.

He ended up scolding himself, "Damn, what a slip of the tongue."

Colin teased, "Well, your emotional intelligence has improved ever since you are getting into a relationship."

Abbot pursed his lips and awkwardly glanced at Faye's reaction in the rearview mirror.

Faye looked up and smiled gently, "I'm not that sensitive."

"Come on, it's not about you being sensitive or not. I can't get past that hurdle in my own heart."

Faye's smile deepened, "Then... Would you like to apologize to me?"

Abbot got the cue and said, "Faye, I'm sorry."

Faye smiled in response, "It's alright. I forgive you."

Colin narrowed his eyes playfully and said, "How did you call her Faye in your apology?"

Abbot took the opportunity to provoke, "Are you envious? Or jealous?"

Colin teased, "Neither, just afraid you'll meet your demise from saying too much."

As they spoke, the car arrived at the Carters' mansion.

Colin parked the car and asked Abbot to get out, "I have two boxes of wine in the trunk. They're good. Take them for your father."

Abbot nodded, grabbed the two boxes of wine from the trunk, and walked into the house.

Upon entering the living room, he saw Camila sitting on the couch with a stern expression.

Seeing his mother's displeased face, Abbot set the wine down and spoke, "Mom, I'm back."

Camila responded with a scoff, "Hmm."

That "hmm" made Abbot shiver.

Stepping forward, Abbot tried to appease her, "Mom, who gets you upset?"

After speaking, seeing his mother's lack of reaction, Abbot started playing the sympathy card, "Mom, catching a cold from getting rained this time made me truly understand what it means when illness strikes suddenly. You don't know, I..."

Camila turned her head to look at Abbot, cutting in ruthlessly, "Are you that weak?"

Abbot was puzzled and he asked, "Huh?"

His mother sneered, "Aubree, bring over the things that the Blacks sent."
