Chapter 1052
Rowan tightened his grip, staring at Minerva for a moment. Minerva felt somewhat perplexed under his gaze.
“I have things to do. Just text me when you.set a time,” Minerva said, wanting to avoid wasting more time. She couldn’t shake the feeling that there was something unusual in Rowan’s eyes, as if he still had lingering feelings for her. But then she reminded herself that it was impossible. Rowan was completely focused on Jenny now. She was just one of his past flings.
The more she pondered, the more she felt that her earlier judgment had been clouded.
She had once believed Rowan could be reliable. After all, she was young and naïve when she fell for him. So, when they got engaged, she was overjoyed.
Now, she couldn’t help but feel a wave of regret, as if she had made a huge mistake. There was no reason for him to stop her from leaving.
Watching her drive away, Rowan stood frozen in place, lost in thought for a long time..
It wasn’t until his phone’s incessant ringing that he finally snapped out of it. When he picked it up and saw
it was Jenny calling, he frowned and then immediately turned off his phone.
He knew he wouldn’t be able to have a meaningful conversation with Jenny today. They both needed some time to cool off.
Meanwhile, Jenny kept calling. When she realized Rowan not only wasn’t answering but had also turned off his phone, she was furious and almost threw her phone at the wall.
Rowan must have intentionally turned off his phone and was ignoring her calls. Frantically, she dialed one of Rowan’s friends.
“Is Rowan with you? No? Did you two make plans for tonight? Oh, okay.”
“No! Rowan actually lied to me,” Jenny thought angrily.
Just moments ago, as they left the cinema, Rowan said he was meeting friends to discuss some business matters. He told her that no one would be bringing their family or girlfriends, so he had just called a cab for her to go home.
But it was a lie.
Suddenly, she remembered seeing Minerva at the cinema.
Rowan had been acting so distracted when he saw her. She wondered if he had gone to find Minerva.
She felt repulsed by his action.
Minerva had said time and again that she was done with Rowan. But clearly, that wasn’t true. They had been exchanging glances right in front of her as if they thought she wouldn’t notice.
Jenny felt like she was about to explode with anger. She couldn’t let Rowan see Minerva again.
Minerva must have regretted getting rid of that baby, and their encounter at the cinema couldn’t have been a coincidence. It was clear that Minerva saw them at the cinema, so she brought Skylar with her and chose to watch the same movie.
Determined, Jenny vowed, “Mineva, no matter what you do, Rowan and I will not break up. We will always be together.”
Chapter 1052
If Minerva had heard Jenny’s words, she would have undoubtedly been curious about Jenny’s thought
process.

The readers' comments on the novel: My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul
Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
