Chapter 1092
From Rowan’s retreating figure, Jenny could see his panic. She couldn’t help the tears that kept streaming down her face.
“Since you’re giving me 10 million dollars, I’ll give you a gift. Rowan, remember this–we owe each other nothing now!”
Hearing Jenny’s words behind him, Rowan paused slightly. He glanced back at her but didn’t bother to ask what the gift was. By now, all feelings between them had been completely drained. So, he left the rooftop quickly.
Jenny stared intently at Rowan.
Seeing him walk away without hesitation, her last shred of hope disappeared entirely. She now knew without a doubt that she and Rowan would never be together again.
Looking down at the ground far below the tall building, she let out a cold laugh. “All of you think my life is over, but I’ll show you how great I’ll live! Just you wait!”
By the roadside, Skylar and Joe were chatting while waiting for Rowan.
After about ten minutes, Rowan approached them. Just then, Skylar noticed a car pulling up to the curb, and Minerva stepped out.
She was surprised to see Skylar and Joe together.
Weren’t these two divorced?
She hadn’t called Skylar to comfort her after the divorce out of respect, thinking that Skylar was strong enough to handle it without breaking down.
So, why were they here together? Did Jenny call them too?
She also noticed Rowan walking over. It wasn’t surprising that he was there. If Jenny called her, she definitely would have called Rowan as well.
If she hadn’t wanted to keep her hands clean, Minerva wouldn’t have come.
“Mr. Martin, Ms. Sullivan,” Minerva greeted the two.
Joe just gave a brief nod in response.
Skylar asked her, “Did Jenny call you too?”
Was Jenny trying her rooftop drama as a public spectacle?
S
“Yes, I happened to be nearby when she called. Did you see her already?” Minerva asked.
Skylar nodded. “Yes, we’ve seen her. It’s nothing serious.”
Minerva felt relieved.
At that moment, Rowan quickly approached them. Upon seeing Minerva, he realized what Jenny’s gift was. It was Minerva, who was standing right before him.
His expression was a mix of complex emotions and urgency as he looked at her. “Minerva, we need to talk!”

The readers' comments on the novel: My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul
Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
