Chapter 1189
Ursula knew she needed to look forward.
She wasn’t the one at fault. It was those two monsters.
“So, Ms. Sullivan, please help me. I can also pay you. I have money–it’s the compensation they gave me,” Ursula said earnestly, wiping the tears from her face as she looked at Skylar.
Skylar looked at Ursula and said, “I can help you, but you need to tell me which park you met that old man and if you remember what he looked like.”
Ursula first told her which park it was and gave a specific date.
However, when she tried to recall what the old man looked like, she struggled. “For some reason, I can’t remember. I’ve completely forgotten what he looked like. I vaguely remember that he looked like the other old men dancing in the square–nothing special.”
Skylar’s expression grew serious, but she wasn’t surprised. This wasn’t the first time she had encountered such a situation. “If you can’t remember, don’t force it now. Just give me the necklace. After this, don’t stay in Jipsburg. Go back to your hometown and live well.”
Ursula obediently removed the necklace. She didn’t know if it was just a misconception, but the moment she took it off, she suddenly felt as though the heavy weight on her shoulders and chest had vanished.
She felt relieved.
For the past few months, every day had been so difficult for her.
As the two were about to leave, Ursula got a phone call.
The moment she answered, her expression changed. “I… I will never forgive them, Ms. Ruell. Don’t preach kindness to others when you haven’t endured their pain. I have lost my mother forever, and I can never go back to the way things were. They ruined my entire life.”
It seemed that Vera had said something again, but Ursula resolutely refused. “I won’t take another cent from you. Ms. Ruell, if you have a conscience, stop calling me. Those who did wrong must pay the price.
“The fact that you’re calling me means you know what they did. In that case, don’t you think it’s unreasonable to push me like this?”
Her firm stance seemed to make Vera hesitate, but she didn’t say anything more.
After hanging up, Ursula looked at Skylar, her eyes brimming with tears.” I will never forgive them!”
Skylar smiled at her and said, “Just follow your heart. You still have family, and a bright future ahead.”
Ursula nodded firmly. Yes, she still had a future.
It must be her mother who was watching over her from somewhere, allowing her to meet Skylar just when she was lost and unsure of the way forward.

The readers' comments on the novel: My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul
Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
