Skylar immediately realized that Joe was still uncertain about his own identity. He was worried whether he was really Joe Martin.
Seeing him filled with doubt, Skylar remained firm. "From the day I confirmed that you were Joe, you became Joe. You are not Ned Sowle. So, it's you that I'm committed to, not the name you currently go by."
Upon hearing this, Joe's eyes darkened as if a storm was brewing in them, dark clouds churning with intensity. His gaze was so intense that he looked like he could almost devour her.
Joe thought to himself, "She's committed to me?"
They locked eyes for a long time, and Skylar's heart pounded rapidly.
A sudden call broke the silence, pulling them back to reality.
Joe answered the call on his phone.
"Mr. Sowle, Ms. Reese has attempted suicide! Please come to the hospital quickly!"
The urgency in the caller's voice changed Joe's expression. He stood up and said, "I'll be right there." Then, he looked at Skylar. "Remember what you said today."
With that, he strode out quickly.
Skylar had faintly heard the words "attempted suicide." But why would Rosa suddenly attempt suicide?
…
At the hospital, Rosa lay pale on the hospital bed, having been unconscious for over an hour.

The readers' comments on the novel: My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul
Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
