Though Joe couldn't recall the events of the last decade, he believed that soon enough, all would come back to him.
Skylar nodded, her eyes reddened with emotion. "Let's check on Grandma together."
Lying on the hospital bed, Gloria looked pale. Recently, she had been unable to eat properly and had lost a considerable amount of weight.
The room was almost too quiet, with her breaths faint and shallow.
The two sat at her bedside, Joe gently grasping Gloria's hand. Skylar felt a wave of sorrow wash over her as she watched the scene unfold.
She knew Gloria had been holding on for over three years, fueled by the hope of seeing Joe again. Now that he had returned, they were finally together, yet Gloria's health had taken a turn for the worse.
She wished Gloria could stay with Joe for a few more years. "Grandma, I remember things from my childhood now. When you wake up, I'll tell you all about it and see if I got anything wrong," Joe said softly.
Skylar was taken aback. "You…"
"I just remembered some things," Joe replied.
"That's wonderful! When Grandma wakes up and hears you remember your childhood, she will be so happy." Skylar felt a rush of excitement.
She and Gloria had been waiting for Joe to regain his memories.
Of course, she understood that the presence of those negative items had prevented Joe from recovering his memories. Just that day, she had dealt with some of those items, reducing their harmful effects on him and allowing Joe to start regaining his memories.

The readers' comments on the novel: My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul
Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
