"No, I know you must know where he is. Please, tell me, will you?" Rosa's voice grew increasingly desperate as she sobbed.

Skylar raised an eyebrow, noticing Rosa's unusual behavior. Did Rosa finally realize Stephen's true nature but couldn't find him and came to her out of desperation?

Skylar's expression darkened slightly when she thought about this possibility. She silently mouthed "Rosa" to Joe, who was glancing her way.

Joe's eyes turned cold at once.

Rosa burst into tears, sobbing loudly. "Skylar, I know there's been a lot of friction and conflicts between us. I admit that I targeted you in the past and lied to Joe.

"But no matter what, I used up all my money to save Joe when he had his car accident. If I hadn't done that, he could have died in the hospital. So, I'm his benefactor.

"Please, I really need to find Stephen. He deceived me!"

Seeing no reaction from Joe, Skylar replied calmly, "I really don't know much about Stephen, nor do I know him personally.

"If he has indeed deceived you, then he's likely gone into hiding and won't be easy to find. If I were you, I'd go to the police immediately."

Judging by Rosa's tone, it seemed she had been thoroughly deceived by Stephen.

Rosa suddenly broke into uncontrollable sobbing. "I trusted him so much! I used up almost all my money for him and even sold the apartment I just bought. I never thought he was deceiving me! Why? Why is fate so cruel? Why did I have to encounter a fraud like him?"

"Tell her to report to the police as soon as possible," Joe said in a low voice.

Skylar nodded. When Rosa's crying subsided slightly, she said, "You should file a police report immediately. The police will help you find him quickly."

"You must be laughing at me, mocking how foolish I've been. You warned me, but I still let Stephen deceive me," Rosa said bitterly, mocking herself.
