Chapter 180
“However, this kind of repair work is time–consuming and labor–intensive. Even for a young person, the price won’t be much lower than mine. Have you made up your mind?” Alexander chatted for a few more moments before hanging up the phone.
Then, Alexander turned to Skylar, his face unable to hide his admiration.
Skylar was the most talented young person he had ever seen. Despite her young age, she was more skilled than the more senior team members.
During Skylar’s time here, she had been modest and humble, yet she had quickly earned her place in the team. She even managed to silence skeptics with her professional abilities. And now they were even vying to be her apprentice.
“Come, take a look at this. Can you handle this task? If you can, the commission for the team is 30 percent, and the rest is yours.” Alexander showed Skylar the videos and photos on his phone, one by one.
Skylar watched attentively, carefully examining each photo and video.
“I believe I can, but it will take some time. I can do it if they’re not in a rush,” she said earnestly after thorough consideration. She was confident that she could take on this job.
Alexander couldn’t help but smile at Skylar’s serious expression. “You didn’t even ask about the pay?” he teased.
Skylar shook her head. “This job marks my entry into the industry. The pay isn’t my main concern. What matters is the quality of the restoration.”
As long as she performed well and gained recognition in the industry, her value would naturally increase.
Alexander grinned broadly. “You’re young but wise beyond your years. Alright, I’ll take this job for you. Rest assured, it won’t be less than seven figures.”
“Thank you, Mr. Gardner Senior.”
Alexander looked at Skylar and regretted not being able to mentor her or better yet, have her as his granddaughter–in–law.
What a pity. Alexander recalled John’s mention that Skylar and Caleb were impossible, leaving him to treat Skylar as an apprentice rather than actively matchmaking her with Caleb. Skylar had already been spoken for, and that person was Joe.
But it would be best not to tell Caleb about this. He couldn’t keep his mouth shut, and who knew, he might
just blabber everywhere or act out of impulse.
It was indeed a shame. The one and only granddaughter–in–law he had his eye on couldn’t be with Caleb.
Suddenly, someone knocked on the door.
“Come in,” Alexander responded.

The readers' comments on the novel: My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul
Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
