My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul novel Chapter 1959

Manfred immediately placed his hand on the copper mirror. The outline of the peony flower appeared beneath his fingertips.

"There is a seal hidden in the outline of this peony. It's a blessing for anyone who possesses this copper mirror. Manfred, did you feel it? If you did, then you've received the blessing too," Vivian said.

Manfred nodded. "I felt it. The pattern is faint. If you don't touch it carefully, you won't notice."

With the naked eye, it was almost invisible. But a blessing…

If such blessings truly worked, he wished Vivian would like him. But he wondered if this copper mirror could make that happen.

He had never believed in the supernatural before. But ever since meeting Vivian, he started to wonder if the supernatural was just a figment of imagination.

He could allow himself to hope for such blessings, but he couldn't be too greedy.

"How come you're back so early today?" Vivian asked, pouring two cups of jasmine tea she had brewed that day.

Briarpatch didn't have much tea, but they had plenty of dried flowers. When the maid went to buy tea, they couldn't find any and instead brought back jasmine tea.

After a few tries, Vivian found she liked it—the delicate floral fragrance was refreshing.

Manfred naturally accepted a cup and took a few sips. "The new county magistrate arrived last night. I handled some handover tasks with him, and the rest of the minor things can be taken care of by others. We'll leave tomorrow."

Vivian was stunned. "So soon?"

"He rode fast and traveled overnight to arrive ahead of schedule, hoping to quickly understand the situation in Briarpatch. Now that he's here, if I stay, I'll only be holding him back. Leaving quickly shows trust and respect for him," Manfred explained patiently.

Vivian understood now. "I see."

Manfred's gaze returned to the copper mirror. "Have you seen your parents in the copper mirror these past few days?"

Vivian shook her head absentmindedly. "No, but I can feel them. They should be in Graystone."

She knew she would meet her parents this time, and after she met them, she and her parents would return home.

After that… perhaps she would never see Manfred again.
