“Why aren’t you saying anything, Skye?” Natalie asked. 

“I’m just listening to you. I think you should occasionally send Jeremy some food. He might be touched and work even harder,” Skylar replied, unable to voice her suspicions. 

It would be best if it was just a coincidence. Natalie’s and Jeremy’s love for each other was extremely strong. 

Natalie’s eyes lit up. “You’re right. Like a good wife, I’ll go to our usual restaurant and pack a surprise for him.” 

The last time she had taken her medical report to him, he had been surprised and delighted. 

Natalie hadn’t thought about it much before. Marriage shouldn’t be one–sided. He had to go on a business trip the next day. Having an encounter in his office tonight

Skylar glanced at the disconnected call, recalling the conversation in the woods. That man’s voice had been really similar to Jeremy’s. She hoped she was mistaken and was merely thinking too much. 

Joe finished his video conference and noticed that Skylar wasn’t there. He saw her message on WhatsApp and replied, “My video conference has ended.” 

Then, he went upstairs to shower. He wasn’t worried about Skylar’s safety at the hot 

spring resort. Security patrolled at this hour, and everyone who visited had to register. 

Skylar received Joe’s message and headed back. She hadn’t gone far, so she quickly returned to the villa. 

When she didn’t see him, she assumed he had gone to the hot spring first. So, Skylar grabbed the swimsuit the staff had brought and went upstairs. 

In the bathroom, Skylar opened the door and walked in. She had rushed back and was now slightly sweaty and uncomfortable. She didn’t even notice Joe coming out. 

Joe was drying his hair with a towel without a bath towel around his waist, Seeing Skylar half undressed, he said, “You…”
