Chapter 268
Three beautiful women stood alluringly in front of Joe.
Any man would likely find it hard to resist, but Joe seemed dissatisfied. Skylar suddenly realized that Joe must have very high standards. She wondered what kind of woman could catch his eye.
Joe’s expression grew colder as he looked at Skylar and said, “I have a better choice. Do you think I’d be interested in the people you send?”
It was then that the others noticed there was someone else in the room besides Joe. Skylar stood there, looking at them with a calm and curious gaze.
Beautiful women love to compare themselves to others. Seeing Skylar, the three sisters‘ expressions immediately soured. Their goal today was to get into Joe’s bed. Why was there another woman here?

“Mr. Martin, I’m particularly good at playing the flute. I’ve won numerous
competitions. How about I play a piece for you and this lady to enjoy?” One of the sharp–minded sisters with long flowing hair proposed.
The middle–aged man had always favored this daughter because she was clever and knew how to please men. She was also quick to step in and defuse the situation.
Skylar blinked. Was this really happening?
Joe noticed Skylar’s intrigued expression and felt a surge of inexplicable anger. His
two words carried a sharp edge, “Go ahead.”
The middle–aged man breathed a sigh of relief. Thankfully, one of his daughters was smart enough to handle the situation. Otherwise, he would have been humiliated.
He had already put all his bets on this plan. No matter what, he had to get one of his

The readers' comments on the novel: My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul
Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
