Chapter 345
Chapter 345
The security came in a jiffy. They arrived just as Christopher had been about to fly off the handle.
When they saw someone in the hotel staff uniform yelling at a guest, a cold sweat broke out all over them.
Skylar said coldly, “I hope to hear a satisfactory explanation from your side. How did someone like this pass the evaluation to work here? I’ll make a police report after this,”
The manager, Dave Dalton, who’d come with the security, wiped his sweat. He apologized humbly, “I truly apologize for our negligence. This man doesn’t seem to be one of our staff members. I’ll call the police now to investigate this incident. Please give us a chance to redeem ourselves.”
ow dare you?
Christopher’s face was a bright shade of red out of anger. “You’re calling the police? How You’re humiliating me! Do you hate me that much?”
Hate? Skylar’s eyes were filled with frost as memories emerged in her mind. “Hate” couldn’t even start to describe how she felt toward Christopher, Maisy, and the rest.
“What’s going on?” questioned a deep and imposing male voice.
Everyone looked toward him.
Joe had a pair of glasses on, which was a rare sight. It diminished the sternness in his eyes and brought out his aloof yet intellectual demeanor.
However, even though some people were unintentionally imposing, they could send shivers running down others‘ spines with a mere look
The moment Christopher saw him, he demanded in devastation, “Let Skylar go, Joe! She’s my girlfriend. There are so many women you can choose from or play with. Why must you steal my girlfriend?”
The hotel staff stifled their breaths and dared not look at Joe. Two security guards held Christopher in
firm grasp.
Joe merely glanced at him, as though he were nothing but scum. Then, Joe looked at Skylar. Seeing that she was unharmed, he turned to Dave. “I want an explanation after you deal with this.”
Dave paled. “Sure! Don’t worry, Mr. Martin. I’ll definitely take serious action.”

The readers' comments on the novel: My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul
Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
