Skylar wasn’t surprised after reading it. It was typical behavior for their family. 

“Yes, I’ll avoid them whenever I see them,” she replied. 

Caleb felt relieved. “Don’t worry, if they dare to bother you again, I won’t let them get away with it!” 

Skylar smiled. “No need to waste time on them.” 

She checked the time and said, “Let’s go, it’s time to leave work.” 

“Alright, I’m going to see my father. See you tomorrow.” 

On her way home, Skylar received a call from Natalie. 

“The Williams family is really something! They might as well tattoo the word ‘shameless‘ on their foreheads!”

Skylar felt indifferent. These people were no different from strangers to her. 

“They brought this upon themselves,” she said coldly. 

Natalie huffed, satisfied for her friend’s sake. 

“They deserve it! I have to go now. Mr. Powell’s scene just ended, and I need to bring him some water and clothes. Let’s go shopping when I get a day off!” 

“Sure, go ahead.” 

Right after ending the call with Natalie, Skylar received another call from Harvey. 

“Skye, something happened at home, you need to come back!” 

Skylar didn’t have time to ask what happened. She immediately drove home, arriving 30 minutes later.
