Chapter 518
Skylar looked at Joe. She wondered what else he wanted to say.
“If you ever find yourself in a situation like this again, just say your husband is Joe Martin,” he stated.
Skylar didn’t know why she wanted to laugh, but she held it back. She didn’t expect Joe to have such a childish side.
This was the first time she had encountered such an incident. If it happened again, she doubted anyone would believe her, even if she claimed Joe as her husband.
Their eyes met briefly. Skylar noticed him look away, averting her gaze.
“Alright,” she agreed.
While Skylar went upstairs to shower, Joe received a call from Jeremy.
Jeremy said, “I heard what happened earlier.”

Joe replied, “Mr. Hughes Senior has been too lenient with Andrew. Tell him Skylar is my wife.”
Jeremy asked, “You want to make Andrew pay?”
Joe scoffed and said, “At least break his leg. He tried to sleep with my wife. I almost want to kill him.”
After saying that, Joe realized he was possessive of Skylar. The thought of another man coveting her was intolerable. Perhaps it was because they were
married.
“Good. I’ve had enough of Andrew. This is the perfect opportunity to deal with him,” Jeremy agreed without hesitation.
Joe gave a noncommittal grunt.
Just as Joe thought Jeremy was about to hang up, he spoke again. “Has Skylar ever mentioned anything about Nath?”
“She knows you cheated?” Joe asked in return.
Jeremy took a drag from his cigarette. The ashtray was already filled with

cigarette butts. His expression grew even darker in the night. “Natalie found out. She wants a divorce.”
“A divorce? Did you agree?”
“I can’t agree to a divorce. Has Skylar shared any of Nath’s thoughts with you?”

The readers' comments on the novel: My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul
Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
