Rowan huffed coldly. He said, "You don't want me to make a mistake?"
"Yes, Rowan," Jenny insisted. She bit her lip.
"Jenny, I told you that I'm not an idiot. You know what you were thinking. I saw through your intentions the moment you decided to enter Martin Group. I will not be your backup. Don't call me unless it's absolutely necessary."
It was clear that he was drawing away from Jenny.
Jenny was stupefied. She hadn't noticed when the call cut off. She only knew that Rowan didn't want to continue waiting for her. He also didn't want to have anything to do with her.
Jenny's teeth sunk into her lip. She only laid back down after a long time.
"I don't regret going to the Martin Group. I can't lose Joe. As for Rowan… He'll make sense of things one day. He definitely will."
Rowan hadn't gotten married. He was only engaged.
Right, that was it.
…
Natalie got back home before Jeremy that day. She'd just received a message from Jeremy telling her he had last-minute work to do and would be back late.
She hadn't even realized that she relaxed upon stepping onto the threshold of their house when she knew that Jeremy wasn't coming home.
After dinner, she went upstairs for a shower.
Just as she drifted off, she was startled by her phone ringing.
Natalie picked up without even opening her eyes.

The readers' comments on the novel: My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul
Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
