With her hands full, Natalie couldn't answer the phone. She hurriedly used her key card to open the door.
After putting the items down, she answered the call without checking who it was.
"Hello."
"Are you settling in at the hotel?" Jeremy's voice came through the phone.
Natalie's hand holding the phone trembled slightly. She was momentarily stunned. Then, with a delayed reaction, she replied, "The hotel's environment is nice. There's a large shopping mall next door, which is convenient and great for shopping."
Natalie realized her words sounded too formal and unfamiliar, and her heart felt heavy. It was a kind of indescribable discomfort.
"Yes, I'm here on a business trip and staying in the penthouse suite," Jeremy said after a brief pause.
Natalie's expression changed abruptly. "You're also staying at this hotel?"
Natalie wondered at the coincidence.
"Yes," Jeremy replied simply.
Natalie bit her lip and made a decision. "Alright, I'll come up to find you shortly."
Ten minutes later, Natalie delivered the items to Austin and Hank and then went to the penthouse suite.
She knocked on the door several times. Jeremy opened it almost immediately.
Natalie walked in, feeling heavy in her chest. The suite was much larger than her room.
"This hotel's penthouse suite is really impressive," Natalie commented with a somewhat strained smile.
During their time together, Natalie gradually realized they couldn't return to how things once were. Despite their efforts, it became clear that things had changed.

The readers' comments on the novel: My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul
Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
