Chapter 726
“Felicia must’ve known that Charles couldn’t do anything about her. That explains why she didn’t bother to clarify the situation. She’s even trying to direct public opinion in her favor,” Freddie hissed through gritted teeth.
Hatred was written across Charles‘ face as he pursed his lips.
His acting career came to an end in the hands of a woman. Although Charles had devised a way to escape his predicament, he wasn’t willing to accept her slandering of him.
Skylar’s expression turned somber. She pulled out her phone to contact
Natalie. She would tell Natalie about this situation, and Hank could propose a solution, or they could contact Felicia.
Skylar opened her WhatsApp. Paul had texted her.
Joe had found out about what had happened. He’d sent someone to deal with Charles‘ struggles.
Skylar glanced at Charles, who was extremely pale. She decided to give Paul a
call.
“Mr. Ziegler, I just saw your text.”
“Mrs. Martin, Mr. Martin has sent me to contact our PR team. They’re already coming up with a plan to deal with this. Don’t worry, Mrs. Martin. They will do their best to minimize the damage to Charles,” said Paul.
Skylar thanked him. Then, she described in detail what had gone down
between Charles and Felicia.
After hearing Skylar’s explanation, Paul erupted and uttered a string of expletives. He soon realized that he’d been extremely rude. He immediately added, “There must be something fundamentally wrong with Felicia! Don’t fret oyer this, Mrs. Martin. I’ll ask them to take an alternative approach to the
situation.”
“Alright. Help me thank Mr. Martin,” said Skylar. She hung up afterward.
Paul agreed cheerily. Then, he went to see Joe to tell him what had happened.
After ending the call, Skylar asked Natalie for Felicia’s contact number.
Felicia had given Natalie her work number, but Natalie hadn’t saved it. She thought she’d never see Felicia again.
Even if they could track her call history, she’d lost her old phone, so they wouldn’t be able to. What a pity.
Freddie piped in, “I have Adele’s number. However, she’s not picking up. She didn’t pick up even when I used someone else’s number.”

The readers' comments on the novel: My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul
Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
