Chapter 731
Suddenly, the doorbell rang. Freddie jumped.
He glanced at Skylar and Charles. He said, “Have the journalists barged in? That doesn’t make sense. They don’t have the access card needed for the elevator. They shouldn’t be able to come up. Did one of our neighbors bring them here? I’ll take a look. We mustn’t open the door for anyone.”
He looked out through the peephole, only to see a handsome face staring back at him. He was even hotter than Charles.
Did the paparazzi look this good? He seemed rather terrifying!
It was as though he could see Freddie looking at him through the peephole. Freddie’s heart skipped a beat as a chill traveled down his spine.
He said, “There’s a stranger outside alone. It’s so weird. He’s extremely handsome. In addition, he’s not carrying a camera. Is he on a covert operation?”
Charles disregarded it. He said, “It will be fine as long as you don’t open the door.”
Freddie nodded and agreed, “I won’t open it.”
Skylar accepted a call from Joe. He instructed coldly, “Open the door.”
Skyla looked up and said, “It’s fine. You can open it.”
“What?” Freddie was stunned.
Charles was surprised as well. He asked, “Do you know the person outside?”
“You know him as well. It’s Joe,” replied Skylar as she walked over.
Freddie had been high–strung throughout the day, so his slow reaction did not come as a surprise. Skylar opened the door. She wasn’t expecting Joe to show
Charles was dumbfounded. “Joe?”
Skylar opened the door. “How did you come in?” She hadn’t told him Charles‘ address.
In adr on, Paul had told her that Joe was busy that day. He must’ve just got
off work. Joe must’ve come here straight away.
“Charles‘ boss led me here.”

The readers' comments on the novel: My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul
Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
