After work, Skylar and Caleb went to the mall to pick out gifts for Simona. Then, they went to the restaurant.

Caleb gave her something similar for every birthday.

It was either a bike or a helmet. If not, he would gift her some decorative items.

Caleb shrugged, brushing off Simona's disdain.

After unwrapping the meticulously wrapped present, Simona revealed a pair of bunny-shaped diamond earrings. Simona's eyes lit up. She enveloped Skylar in a big hug and exclaimed, "Skylar, these bunny earrings are gorgeous. I love them. I want to put them on now!"

"No problem. I'll help you put them on." Skylar took the earrings out and helped Simona wear them.

Joe clenched his jaw as he turned around stiffly. He scanned his bedroom. There was nothing to show that Skylar had even lived here.
