Skylar replied honestly, "I don't have any plan for now. Have you had breakfast? There's milk and sandwiches."
"I had something to eat on the plane. If you don't have any plans, just stay and sleep with me for a while," Joe said, his voice carrying a hint of fatigue.
Skylar's expression changed. Lately, Joe had been increasingly blunt. "I was going to…"
Before she could finish explaining, Joe's intense gaze fixed on hers. "It's not what you're thinking. I just want to get some sleep, purely sleep."
Skylar's face flushed. "I just woke up and I'm not sleepy yet. If you're worried about me being noisy at home, I was actually planning to go to the library to do some research, so I won't disturb you."
It wasn't that she was overthinking things. His choice of words was questionable. Who would say things like "sleep with me" in the middle of the day?
Joe swiftly pulled her into his arms as she was about to leave.
"Is it because it's not what you thought that you're getting upset? Since I have nothing else to do, I'll just deal with you first, then sleep."
Joe spoke plainly, and his actions were even more direct. His body was equally straightforward.
Skylar was astonished by his energy. He had just gotten off the plane and was already exhausted. She questioned, "Aren't you afraid of overworking yourself?"
"Want to give it a try?" His deep voice rumbled in her ear.
Skylar felt Joe was becoming increasingly shameless.
Sometime later, as Skylar was feeling exhausted and drowsy, she realized Joe was not only getting brazen but also more uncontrolled in bed.
In a daze, Joe kissed her again. It was a long, gentle kiss. Recently, he liked kissing her a lot, especially after their intimate moments.
When she woke up again, it was already 2:00 pm. She was jolted awake by the sound of a phone ringing.
Skylar was still half-asleep when she picked up her phone and checked it. Then, she nudged Joe, who was still holding her. "It's your phone. Someone's calling you."

The readers' comments on the novel: My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul
Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
