Skylar glared at Vera coldly. “Are you done?” 

“No. Since we’re on the topic, I’ll be honest with you. Joe and I have known each other for years. We knew that we’d get married back then. Our marriage would be a great help to our families. 

“I’ve been too capricious recently. I ignored his opinions in my pursuit of freedom and left him to take on the world himself. Then, he waited for me for years. You know why you two married each other. Thus, I would like you to propose for divorce with Joe. You can ask me for anything. I’ll agree to it.” Vera came clean about her plans.
