Jenny could feel his hesitation. Rowan might not have realized, but Jenny could tell that Rowan wasn’t as unmoved by Minerva as he appeared to be. Perhaps he liked Minerva.

Skylar was surprised to see him. She asked, “Steven, weren’t you overseas? When did you come back?”
