Chapter 959
Skylar already knew Joe’s plans. “Okay.”
Joe added, “During the next couple of days with Natalie, if anything comes up, call me immediately.”
Skylar smiled. “Are you worried about me?”
It was clear that Joe was not entirely at ease with her being alone in a foreign country. Joe didn’t hide his concern and admitted. “Yes.”
“I’ll take care of myself. You focus on your work,” Skylar said. She suddenly felt a bit nostalgic, as if parting with him.
Joe simply nodded.
Natalie arrived at the hotel as they talked.
Skylar went to open the door. It had been nearly two months since they last saw each other. The moment the door opened, Skylar
almost didn’t recognize Natalie.
Natalie had lost much weight, but the sun had not tanned her. Her hair had grown past her shoulders.
“Wow, you didn’t recognize me?” Natalie teased with a smile. She hugged Skylar tightly. “I missed you so much.”
Skylar commented, “You’ve lost weight.”
Natalie immediately expressed her frustration, saying, “If you lived here for two or three months, I guarantee you’d go from over 90 pounds to just 80 pounds. The Floan cuisine here is decent, but it’s not like home. Everything I eat here has no taste.”
As she spoke, she noticed Joe.
Joe looked over at her and Skylar, and she addressed him, “Don’t

Natalie was speechless. Her mouth twitched in annoyance.
Skylar couldn’t help but laugh. “I bought several pastries. Let’s have some together later. I’m not sure if you’ve been to this bakery before, but the pastries aren’t too sweet but very soft.”
Natalie’s eyes lit up at the mention of the food. “Now that you mention it, how could I have forgotten to buy myself some pastries and cakes over these past two months?”
“They’re in my suitcase,” Skylar said. She moved the suitcase she had set aside closer.
Since she would be staying with Natalie for just two days, she packed a small suitcase containing some personal items, two outfits, and a few pastries.
Natalie checked the time. “Let’s head out now.”
She took the suitcase from Skylar’s hands.
“Alright.”
As they were about to leave, Skylar gleaned back at Joe. Their eyes
met.
“I’m leaving now. See you the day after tomorrow. Take care of yourself these two days,” Skylar said.
Joe nodded. “Okay.”
As Natalie’s gaze shifted between them, she remarked once they

The readers' comments on the novel: My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul
Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
