Not a single hint of fear was present in Cooper's expression. He stood there elegantly and casually said, “Someone must've paid you guys to do this. I can pay you three times as much.”

The man with the baseball bat shrugged and scoffed coldly. “You offended one of our friends, Mr. Sutton. I must cripple one of your legs today!”

He waved his bat, and the other men swung their fists toward Cooper.

Cooper lifted his leg and kicked the nearest guy in the stomach.

Although he was a pretty skilled fighter himself, these people were experts, too. Every single one of their punches was aggressive and merciless. It was already a struggle to fight one person, let alone all six at once.

Cooper got distracted for only a split second, and the man immediately swung his baseball bat, striking the former's back.

Grunting in pain, Cooper fell unconscious to the ground.

One of the men spat on the ground and said mockingly, “And here I thought he was a tough opponent. All it took was a strike from you to knock him out cold, Charles.”

The man with the baseball bat, known as Charles, scoffed. “I would've come alone if I knew he was this weak.”

I thought a rich guy like him would bring at least a few bodyguards skilled in combat with him, but turns out he's alone. Are all rich people as stupid as him?

Charles instructed the guy who just spoke to take a video of him breaking Cooper's leg so they could send it to their employer, showing him that they had completed the mission.

Charles had just raised the baseball bat high in the air when a cold voice interrupted him.

“How dare you hit my man!”

The six hooligans turned in the direction of the voice and saw a woman standing a distance away. She was wearing a black turtleneck sweater and denim jeans, and her face was covered with a mask.

Her eyes were filled with bone-chilling coldness, sending chills down the men's spines.

Charles sized the woman up and admired her curves as lust took over him. Arrogantly, he declared, “So what if I hit him? I'm even going to break his leg. Hey, gorgeous, if you beg me, I'll go easy on him.”
