“What are you looking at?” Jack sat down beside Genevieve and wrapped his arm around her waist.

“No.” She shook her head as she no longer had any feelings for him. “It's just that at the rate this is going, Central Group is finished.”

After a brief pause, she asked Jack, “Didn't you say that Sylvie was an orphan?”

Fiddling with her hair, Jack replied languidly, “When I interviewed her for my new movie four years ago, it was stated in her file that she was an orphan. However, I don't know her well and don't care if she's an orphan or the daughter of someone rich.”

His words caused Genevieve to fall into deep thought.
