"Mr. Tyree, in my opinion, we should keep Ms. Claire here for now."

As soon as the butler spoke, Claire suddenly stopped making a fuss and nodded her head very fast.

Tyree's scalp was numb. As soon as she let go of his arm, he immediately took off his suit and threw it in the laundry pile. He raised his hand and loosened his tie to feel better.

Judging from Claire's crazed and unpredictable behaviour, he had the feeling that she might do something even more outrageous.

"Keep an eye on her. Without my permission, she is not allowed to leave the villa."

After saying this, Tyree quickly walked out to the porch, and slammed the door behind him shut with a loud bang. The way he left was as if there were some wild beasts coming after him.

Watching Tyree leave helter-skelter, the corners of Claire's mouth curled up.

The butler thought that he was seeing things.

"Ms. Claire, please follow me upstairs to your room!" The butler said softly.

"Okay!"

Claire got up from the floor. Glancing at the sticky lollipop in her hand, she put it into her mouth and licked it. It tasted quite sweet.

She followed the butler to the second floor, took a shower, and put on her silk pajamas. She looked at her own reflection in the mirror. She had no makeup on and there were two light scars on her forehead.

Claire touched it and winced in pain.

It had been three years. It had been three full years since someone pushed her off the cliff.

Thanks to the help of a very skilled doctor, she survived. For the past three years, she focused all her attention on studying medicine.

Claire wondered what Sara's expression would be, if she knew that she was still alive and married Tyree?
