Yelena raised the gift in her hands. With a smile, she replied, "Grandpa, it's me, Yelena. I brought you a gift. It's tea of good quality."

Frank's expression instantly softened when he heard it was Yelena. "It's you, Yelena. You're dressed a little differently today. I thought…"

He had almost said he thought she was Willow.

Before he could do so, he took the hint and stopped himself.

Frank glanced warily at Jasper. He then accepted Yelena's gift. "You've changed a little too drastically. I nearly couldn't recognize you. Come and have a seat."

Yelena smiled and sat next to Jasper.

As soon as she sat down, Jasper stood up and walked over to his grandmother. He sat next to her.

Yelena's smile froze. She clenched her fists slightly on the table.

Xavier sat on Cindy's left, while Jasper sat on her right.

Frank's spot was occupied by two men from the younger generation.

He had no choice but to sit next to Yelena.

Before they started eating, Frank highlighted the purpose of the family gathering. "For generations, the rule of our family has been to obey our parents by agreeing to arranged marriages. It was the same for your grandmother and I. We have always had a good relationship, and we'll spend the rest of our lives together. Neither of you will be the exception."

"Grandpa…" Xavier wanted to fight for his rights.

Frank directly cut him off. "Coincidentally, Yelena is here today. Yelena's grandfather and I made a promise to each other many years ago. Yelena, you are to be married to Jasper. Now is the time to fulfill this promise."

It sounded like Frank was saying this to Xavier, but in reality, he meant to say it to Jasper.
