"Don't blame yourself too much," Kylin said, "Yesseca must have kept this to herself for a long time. Even if you didn't say anything, she would probably have broken sooner or later. Maybe not being able to hold it in is a good thing. If she held it in any longer, the problem would have gotten more severe."
Preslie was about to speak when her phone suddenly rang.
It was a call from Sheldon.
"I'll have to take this call," Preslie told to Kylin.
Kylin nodded.
Preslie walked to the side and answered the phone. "Mr. Hawls."
"Did you call me earlier?" Sheldon said, "I couldn't pick up because my phone was in the car while I was taking a walk."
"Mr. Hawls," Preslie lowered his voice. "Yesseca is in trouble."
Sheldon was surprised to hearthat.
"She's in trouble? What happened to her?" Sheldon asked.
Preslie told him everything.
Sheldon's tone was full of disbelief. "How could this be?"
"I don't know." Preslie said, "It must have happened because Yesseca couldn't take the gravity of the matter when Mr. Tremaine chased her out of Nashaland. Why don't you tell Mr. Tremaine about what happened to Yesseca and ask him to make a trip over here?"
Preslie believed Yesseca's condition was because of Tremaine. If Tremaine was willing to come over, pay a visit to Yesseca and talk it all out with her, maybe she would feel better.
Preslie made it sound like a simple task, but Sheldon knew it was easier said than done.
Yesseca was separated from Tremaine and was chased out from Nashaland by him. Something big must have happened between them. Sheldon couldn't think of something that would make Tremaine willing to head over.
"Preslie, where are you? I'll come over and we can talk more about it." Sheldon figured that going over to see what was going on was the best.
Preslie immediately gave him her address.
While she was waiting for Sheldon's arrival, Preslie noticed the cut on Kylin's arm.
She immediately said, "Kylin, I forgot about your hand, let's bandage it quickly!"
Kylin didn't have the mood to care about his wound at all.
He said, "It's alright. It's just a small injury. We'll talk about it after Yesseca comes out."
Preslie didn't think it was a minor injury at all. His sleeve was soaked in blood. How could it be a minor injury?
She said, "You'd better dress your wound first. I'll stand guard here and inform you as soon as Yesseca comes out. Besides, if Yesseca wakes up and sees you, she'll be worried to death!"
Upon hearing Preslie's last sentence, Kylin immediately went to treat his wound.
Perhaps it was because Kylin constantly urged the nurses to be quick that he was good to go within 5 minutes.
It was obvious that he had a bandage on. Though his sleeves covered the bandage, upon close inspection, one arm looked like it was bulging a little more than the other.
Not long after Kylin came back, Yesseca finally came out.
Her results came back normal.
The doctor said that Yesseca's abnormal behavior was most probably due to the excessive psychological stress. As long as she remained careful, there shouldn't be any problems in the future.
Hearing the doctor's words, Kylin and Preslie were relieved.
"When will she wake up?" Kylin asked.
The doctor said, "The stabilizer will knock her out for about 3 hours, so she should be awake after just 2. You can decide if you want to discharge or admit her into the hospital. I suggest you keep her here a little while longer for further medical care."
