His main goal was to get Tremaine and Yesseca back together.

But he didn't ask Tremaine to join them for dinner that night.

Her feelings were everywhere and after a while, she said stiffly, "I'm glad he knows his limits!"

"We saw Preslie's family going to the store as we were leaving. I told him about the times they came troubling you. So he asked me to follow them and arrest them if needed."

Speaking of this, he said in a meaningful tone, "Miss Cowell, he did this for you because he didn't want you to be unhappy because of Preslie's family.

Preslie was overjoyed.

This new store's business was even better than the old one.

No matter how good the business of the old shop was, they had never sold out everything before noon.
