Closing the shop was the only way Yesseca could stop Tremaine from buying from her.
Although she worked hard to open the store and it was her dream to do so...
She hated him too much.
She rather threw her dream down the drain than have anything to do with him.
"Yesseca!" Tremaine finally spoke when he heard that Yesseca was willing to go to this extent. "Don't do it! I'll stop sending people over, okay?"
He comprimised in the end.
He knew how important the bakery was to her.
Seeing that he finally agreed, she heaved a sigh of relief.
She turned around and was about to leave. Suddenly, his voice sounded from behind her. "Wait! I have something to tell you."
Yesseca stopped in her tracks. However, it lasted for a brief moment before she continued forward.
"Yesseca!" Tremaine quickly stepped forward as he stopped her.
Her tone was ice-cold. "Get out of the way!" However, he refused, begging her, "Since I promised that I would never send anyone to your store, give me a chance to speak to you for a bit."
She bit her lip hard.
She knew very well that she should leave.
When she saw the pleading look in his eyes, she felt a stab in her stone-hard heart, and it softened immediately.
"I saw the crowd that came for your desserts and the smile on your face. I was really happy when I saw all those."
"And your smile made me smile."
"But I got selfish. I missed your delicious desserts and I was jealous that others could taste them. So I got someone to buy them for me."
"I started eating your desserts everyday and I never got tired of eating them. They were the best food in the world that I didn't even want to eat any of my meals except for your desserts."
Speaking of this, Tremaine let out a wry smile. "Unfortunately, Sheldon warned me that I should stop or I would collapse. I had the people of Nashaland to think about, so I have to get back to eating my regular meals."
"I agreed, yet I didn't want to waste your food, so I had him prepare a freezer room to store the
leftovers."
