She trusted her instincts.

Ruth wasn't a woman who sought after wealth or status.

After a long period of silence, Rorita said, "Madam Quartley, if we really have to separate them, then we need to give them more time. The baby is still in it's infancy and needs to be breastfed it's mother's milk. It wouldn't be appropriate to separate the baby from it's mother so soon."

Madam Quartley was reminded of how negligent she had been.

It was inevitable that the baby had to be separated from Ruth.

Although she greatly sympathized with Ruth, she had no other option.

All she could now was simply allow more time for the baby to be with it's mother.
